I was looking forward to Richard & Rich’s wedding for a long time. Their engagement shoot with their dogs pulling down trees and then the next minute posing for their photos as if trained for the event was the first taste of what the big day would be. We laughed the whole time, and although the Richard’s claimed they hadn’t been overly looking forward to their engagement shoot, the photos came out great (biased opinion here obviously) and they even had one photo set into cuff links for the wedding!
When their wedding day arrived, it was everything a photographer could dream of! Two great venues, a bunch of lovely friends and family there to have a great time, and miraculous weather which improved from slight flooding in the morning to a perfect Pimms setting during the afternoon!
The ceremony at Hull City Hall was our first there, and was every bit as ace to photograph as I’d thought. The huge domed roof providing loads of light and a unique backdrop for photos. Then it was to West Carlton Country Guest House, East Yorkshire where Boutipi had set up a pair of Tipis on the perfect lawn surrounded by trees, fields, and more lawns. We really were spoiled for choice and love tipis because it turns into one giant open party and is a joy to photograph.
The afternoon was filled with the most tremendous food, a great set of speeches that were tough to photograph because of the laughter behind the camera and then a whole evening of guests enjoying themselves everywhere you pointed a camera.
I could go on, but instead have some photos! Thanks Richard & Rich!
