A few years back, we met the lovely Daniella and Aubrey at a wedding fayre. They had their hearts set on a classic, traditional English wedding in the gorgeous county of East Riding. Their special day was an exciting one for us, not only were we looking forward to all the top hats and tailcoats, it was one of our first catholic weddings too!
The morning was nice and relaxed. Daniella chose to get ready at home, with Sam (Chick Artistry) providing make-up and the bridesmaids helping keep Daniella calm, and doing a spot of last minute ironing too!
After saying their vows at Beverley Catholic Church, Daniella & Aubrey took their guests to Rise Hall, East Yorkshire. It’s really no surprise that Rise Hall continues to be such a popular venue, it’s a stunning location, and rather handily, situated close to Beverley. With its grand architecture and gorgeous surroundings, it fit perfectly into Daniella and Aubrey’s traditional, English vision.
The glorious sunshine, however, was accompanied by a very strong breeze – which meant lots of flying top hats – spiffing! Regardless, the wedding party were wonderful during their photos, despite almost getting blown over. Although there was a little hiccup, when some VIP guests got lost on the way to the reception, the day ran smoothly!
The food, provided by Dine, was amazing, and the flowers, provided by Sarah Slater (The Beverley Flower Company), were beautiful as always. The Irish themed entertainment was brilliant too, with an Uilleann pipe player, Dicky Deegan, and a surprise performance by one of their friends, ‘Bromley Girl’ Elena, who sang a lovely rendition of ‘Galway Girl’! And to top it all off? Some great photos of guests who certainly weren’t afraid of the dance floor!
Here are our favourites, enjoy!
