The underfloor heating screed had now set, so just the entire building to finish.

There was a huge mini-project at this point. The whole building runs off computers. Lighting, heating, CCTV, speakers, sensors; all required miles – literally – of cables hiding in walls and floors. Here’s a photo of my friend Liam lending a hand. He almost lost said hand haha!

 

This whole process took a hell of a long time, but it’s just the most amazing thing when you arrive in the morning, heat set just right, and the lights and your favourite radio station fade in. Read More...

Long overdue this post! I left part one having just got the keys and sort of had a design in mind for the layout. Here’s the first few jobs on the list.

When we got the building, there were six rooms downstairs – with no windows, mmmm. Upstairs had six more rooms – two without windows. You get the picture, many rooms in bad state, with no natural or artificial lighting. A great place to inspire confidence in our clients, haha! Read More...

Fossca Studio: Part 1

Big news! We now have premises in Hull. It’s not quite a studio yet, more a drafty warehouse, but soon! This actually happened at the beginning of October, but this wedding season has been manic, hence a delayed, but still exciting announcement.
